Black White Kitchen Idea | Archisesto Chicago Residence Revival
Transplants from Spain and Italy, our clients envisioned a kitchen renovation that mimicked the style of apartments one would find in Barcelona. Built in 1913, their five-bedroom home was a great candidate for the couple to construct what they love most about the Spanish dwellings — a juxtaposition of classic architecture with a modern and sleek interior design.
With two young children and a love for cooking, the kitchen was at the center of the home renovation. A palette of black, white, and bronze details accentuate the couple’s vision of a practical space — one that is luminous, minimalist in style, and aesthetically interesting. To achieve their conceptualized kitchen, the couple opted for a combination of Helene and K105 collections by Italian company Zecchinon, with cabinetry in white, a kitchen island in black, and drawers in dark grey.
