Every kitchen has a story, and this project began with a personal connection. As longtime friends of Archisesto’s founder, Giacomo, the homeowners approached us after purchasing two units in Chicago’s North Center neighborhood, one to call home and the other as a rental property.
The goal was to create a kitchen that combines modern Italian design, functionality, and timeless elegance. Featuring cabinetry from Zecchinon’s K105 collection, the design brings together clean lines, refined finishes, and thoughtful details. Rooted in Italian craftsmanship, the K105 collection emphasizes carefully selected materials, contemporary aesthetics, and exceptional design flexibility. Created to adapt to different spaces and lifestyles, the collection offers a wide range of possibilities for designing a kitchen that feels both personal and functional.
One of the standout features is the beautiful blue cabinetry, made with Fenix, an innovative surface material known for its ultra-matte appearance, soft-touch feel, and resistance to fingerprints. The rich blue finish adds character and depth to the space while maintaining a sleek, contemporary look.
More than just a kitchen, this project represents the connection between friendship, trust, and a shared passion for thoughtful design. Every detail was considered to balance beauty with everyday functionality, creating a space that feels welcoming, comfortable, and uniquely their own.
